Round Vase with Textured Matte Gold Body

This is a very unique vase. I have only made a few in this design and with this surface. The crackles structure on the body is created using Sodium Silicate applied before the vase is extracted from a cylinder shape to the round moon shape. In this process the matte gold clay slip was added giving it a very special look. The top and inside is glazed with a shiny blue/gray glaze. Share
